Karl Marx Karl Marx would not agree with the way Planet X is run because he believes that everyone should be equal, so to do that we need to eliminate private companies, and eliminate classes. This is proven in this quote, “The theory of communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property.”- Karl Marx. In Karl Marx book, the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital it explains the class struggles and how the working men should become the new government. This violate the equality between female and male; why should the men rule? What about the women? I believe that everybody has an equal opportunity to be equal, so the working people should not have to pay for the people who sit around and do nothing to support themselves or the society.

Robert OwenRobert Owen would agree with how planet X is run. There are private businesses and the people are allotted a certain amount of land to grow their own food. Owen would definitely agree with the gender equality. Owen quotes, “Women will no longer be made the slaves of, or dependent of men… They will be equal in education, rights, privileges, and personal library.” This quote proves to us that he believes that both male and female are equal and there is no “gender role”.

John LockeJohn Locke would agree and disagree with different aspects about Planet X. He would disagree about the human nature because he believes that you do have mental influences, but when you are born you are already implanted with some kind of behavior from god. Locke would agree with the representatives because it lays down a basic guideline of rules that everyone lives by, but the individuals voice their own opinions about everything, and they also get to vote on their representative. John Locke quotes, “Men's happiness or misery is most part of their own making.” This quote proves that he would agree that you have to work for what you want, it is not just going to be given to you. In conclusion, I think that John Locke would be able to live in a society like this he would most likely want to change some aspects of thinking.

John Stuart Mill Mill would like the the value of individualism on Planet X. He would agree that the individuals should work for what they want, and that every citizen should thrive to have a good education. Mill believed that the pursuit of pleasure that actually motivates human beings does not necessarily conflict with acting for the general good of the society. He would would agree with the supply and demand system and the competition between the companies on Planet X. If the companies are competitive then the owner is actually supplying a better business to the society because they're making better qualities.

Adam SmithAdam Smith is the creator of supply and demand also known as the invisible hand. He would definitely like the life on planet X because his ideologies and beliefs match Planet X’s. Adam Smith lives for competition he thinks that it runs a societies economics, which is does on Planet X. Laws allow citizens to pursue self interest but not a an extreme extent that genocide would occur to create the perfect people. Adam Smith would probably not agree with the standard universal wage that every worker must receive for every hour they work. All in all, Adam Smith and Planet X both value individuals, free market, and capitalism.

Edmund BurkeEdmund Burke was a big believer that humans are not born equally and that if you had the wealth and education you were on the top of the hierarchy. Burke may stand behind the quiz that all citizens must pass to vote on a representative because it is proving to us that the people voting are there for a purpose and that they know what they are talking about. On planet X everybody has equal opportunity and everybody is born equal, whether they want to improve their state or stay where they are at. Burke would not agree that Planet X does not have a class system. If he were on Planet X he would definitely create a well known class structure that separates the rich and the poor. Edmund Burke would have lots of changes to Planet X, but he would agree with the competition and voting system.

Thomas HobbesThomas Hobbes would disagree with the way planet X works. Hobbes believed in a dictatorship, and that extreme individualism was dangerous. Planet X values the individual's beliefs and opinions, and they take the citizens input on what they think of how the planet should be ran. Is security more important than freedom? Thomas Hobbes believes so, but Planet X implies both security and freedom equally. Hobbes quotes, “It is not wisdom but authority that makes a law.” This quote would not be accepted by the people of Planet X.

Baron de Montesquieu (Charles-Louis de Secondat) Montesquieu would agree and disagree with different aspects of Planet X. He would like that there are separate branches in the government judicial and legislative, but he would not agree with the public deciding which laws and movements should be amended. He would also not agree that there is one representative for the entire world, he would like each separate country to have their own government separated into three branches, executive, judicial, and legislative. Baron de Montesquieu would be one of the theorists who could fulfill their life on Planet X.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau Rousseau would definitely critique the way that my world is ran because he has a liberalist view on the world. He thinks that equality is more important than freedom, so he would probably tax private companies products instead of just the public's. He would also think that everyone should get a certain amount of money and that we should spread the wealth among everybody. Rousseau would agree that everybody has their own opinions that they should be able to make up their own rules to a degree. Rousseau quotes, “Every man has a right to risk his own life for the preservation of it.” Planet X would agree because you have to take risks in order to live.

Tommy DouglasDouglas was the first leader of the NDP in Alberta, which falls on the the communist side of the spectrum. He would agree with the free universal healthcare on Planet X, but he would not agree with the taxation system. The reason being, that he supports redistribution of wealth through progressive taxation, and Planet X does not . Planet X believes that everyone should work for what they get and that the moneys that others make should be given to the people who don't work for what they want.
